About Lakou Kajou
Lakou Kajou is a fun and engaging educational media program for young Haitians. Join Lili, Tilou and their friends on fun adventures that help children learn all about the world around them! Lakou Kajou sparks a life-long love of learning for children while covering important topics in literacy, math and science. Children also learn skills like solving problems, building healthy relationships and maintaining self control.
A recent study by researchers at the University of Maryland (USA) found that children who watch Lakou Kajou videos make measurable improvement in learning.
We believe that all children should have access to fun and enriching educational experiences! Lakou Kajou reaches children throughout Haiti thanks to our partnerships with local broadcasters, community organizations, and schools. Contact us if you’d like to learn more about implementing our programming in your organization!
Lakou Kajou is a project of Fondasyon MWÈM, in collaboration with Blue Butterfly (USA). The program is supported by W.K. Kellogg Foundation, FOKAL, MENFP, AMURT-Haiti and Ayiti Community Trust, along with individual donors.
